| Today I went to a different beach than the one I usually go to. This particular one has a cove and for some reason there were THOUSANDS of fish there today. it was amazing ... and terrifying. My entire life I've had two phobias- heights and fish. Anyway my brother was already in the water and I was looking at him in the distance and did not realize the ammount of fish I was swimming with until I was shoulder deep and started feeling them on my legs!!! SO anyway, I started paddling desperately and they would all move for the most part but there were so many that you could not see the bottom! well, I stayed anyway deciding they were being really nice and weren't hurting me, it was almost like they were allowing me to beat this. THEN a guy with a net came and everytime would come out with hundreds of fish at a time, I could tell the poor fish were panicking. I decided to take a stand I started hitting the water with my floatie bed so hard everywhere he went, I would paddle and splash and make the fish move so he couldn't catch them, after all these waters are protected from brutes like him. Everywhere he went I swam to with the thousands of fish guiding them away.we did this for an hour and an half and we had a HUGE audience laughing at how I was guiding the fish from him. I feel like that's how the world works, we have the BIG man with all his tools trying to be so greedy and then we have the little guy struggling to stay afloat, splashing around. Well I'm happy to say that the guy got so tired he just started laughing too and took his net and gave up! SO friends, when you believe in something, even if it seems as big as the ocean or as little as saving fish, stand up for yourselves!!!! You might just make a difference. oh yeah, and EAT MORE GREENS.
